A Letter From the MD, Diana Crabtree
In July 2022, we were excited to celebrate our company’s 7th birthday! What a year it has been… again!
As many of you know, this business started very much as a part-time freelance web design and development venture in 2015 – based in my dining room in Plympton!
Our Team
Since then, I have been fortunate enough to build an amazing team of talented, passionate individuals, who love helping our clients to grow their businesses – by making the most of their online presence. During the last 12 months, we have added Paul, Sue, and Claire to our team – taking us from strength to strength.
Recruitment continues to be a challenge for many businesses across a wide range of sectors – and this is no different for us. We are working hard to add additional Web Developers to our team – at both Trainee and Experienced levels – a challenge I am sure we will rise to! Our team was pleased to be asked to give a student of Tavistock College a 1 week Work Experience placement in July. It is great to be able to give back to the local community, and we are looking forward to offering another placement next year.
Our Workplace
This year, we have made further improvements to our offices – having installed a new ceiling in the 1st Floor office, making it more comfortable for everyone to work in all year round – and hopefully reducing our heating bill over the winter!
Awards & Recognition
We are delighted to have retained the “Three Best Rated” Web Designer Plymouth award in 2021 – for the third year running.
And, very recently we have been nominated in 2 categories of the “West Country Women AWARDS” – Small Business of the Year; and Women in Tech. Very exciting! No idea if we will win either, but still very grateful to have been nominated.

Existing Client Highlights
We carried out a full website redesign for Cornish Motorhome Hire, applied new branding to Figure Fairy Chartered Accountants in Bodmin, and designed and developed a brand new website for the sister company of our long-standing existing client, Tamar Caravan Centre – Tamar Campervan Hire.
Alex from Plumbing Doctor asked us to redesign his website, and we set up a brand new Online Shop for Companions Haven. We completed a package redesign project for our client, Permalash, using the new branding we had previously designed for them.
The Coming Year
We look forward to continued business growth, working with our existing clients and winning new clients across the UK. Recruitment continues to be key priority for us, as does making WDSEO the best place to work! We will also continue with our engagement in the community, especially encouraging and supporting young people.
